Vladimira Klumpar creates brilliant cast glass sculptures that combine a minimalist aesthetic with iconic forms to convey the artist’s intense interest in figurative sculpture. Alicante Gris is a masterpiece of technical process, the scale of which is nearly daunting, the simplicity of which is calming and beguiling. Measuring   the sculpture looks brilliant in front of north facing window. In direct sunlight the blueish-purple color of the glass is revealed.
