Memento Mori is an ongoing photographic exploration of architecture, memory, craftsmanship, reverence, and the enduring human response to finite existence. Drawn from cemeteries, mausoleums, crematoria, sacred interiors, memorial sculpture, and historic stained glass throughout the United States and Europe, these photographs examine the remarkable ways people have sought to preserve memory through the built environment.
