This exhibition brings together a distinguished group of artists whose practices are united not by medium, but by a shared commitment to material exploration, technical excellence and creative innovation. Working across sculpture, glass, mixed media and other forms, Carmen Lozar, Dante Marioni, Harry Mintz, Kate Clements, Richard Royal, Rick Beck, and Tim Shaw each engaged deeply with the transformative possibilities of making. It’s a collection of works that challenge delight and expand our perceptions of the physical world.
Accumulation begins with a single act. This exhibition examines, how repeated actions, generate complexity. Across disciplines and materials, the artist in this exhibition employee processes of layering, assembling, and iterative mark-making to create works that explore the relationship between the single element and the larger whole. Whether organic or geometric, intuitive or organized, these forms reveal accumulation as a fundamental force, one through which movement, structure, and interconnectedness become visible.
